Hookin2Hockey

Welcome to the 2026 Hockey season 

Hookin2Hockey is for children 10 years and under. The skills are modified to suit the player’s age and ability. It gives younger children the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills and is a great precursor to playing regular hockey in the Junior competition. At Nambour we believe that playing Hookin2Hockey is all about fun, friendship and developing a love of this great sport.

TRAINING

Training sessions are every Tuesday and will commence TBA on the grass fields at Ballinger Road Hockey Fields. 

For any new comers, we will run a come & try session during the first two weeks of training.  Equipment will be provided.  This is a great opportunity to experience the game prior to registering. 

*Please note: we do not train during the school holidays

GAMES

The 'Sunny Stars' Hookin2Hockey games for our U8 and U10 players will commence TBA, with games being played on the turf and grass fields.  The season will run until TBA. Times TBA.

AGE GROUPS: 

U8s - born 01/01/2018 - 31/12/2021

U10s - born 2016 & 2017

2026 FEES

Hockey Australia, Hockey Queensland & SCHA - $ + Nambour Blue Demons - $35

Total: $ or $ if you wish to purchase the equipment pack. 

Equipment pack includes hockey stick, hockey ball and shin pads. 

NBDHC,HQ and SCHA will add transaction fees (2% + $1.60) each to their portion of these registration fees. These fees are non-refundable.
