Hookin2Hockey

Welcome to the 2025 Hockey season 

Hookin2Hockey is for children 10 years and under. The skills are modified to suit the player’s age and ability. It gives young children the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills and is a great precursor to playing regular hockey in the Junior competition. At Nambour we believe that playing Hookin2Hockey is all about fun, friendship and developing a love of this great sport.

TRAINING

Training sessions are every Tuesday and will commence TBA on the grass fields at Ballinger Road Hockey Fields. 

For any new comers, we will run a come & try session during the first two weeks of training.  Equipment will be provided.  This is a great opportunity to experience the game prior to registering. 

*Please note: we do not train during the school holidays

GAMES

The 2025 Hookin2Hockey Friday carnival games for our U8 and U10 players will commence TBA on the turf.  The season will run until late Aug (TBC). 

AGE GROUPS: 

U8 - born since 01/01/2016

U10 - born 2014 & 2015

2025 FEES

Hockey Australia, Hockey Queensland & SCHA - $TBA + Nambour Blue Demons - $35

Total: $TBA

NBDHC,HQ and SCHA will add transaction fees (2% + $1.60) each to their portion of these registration fees. These fees are non-refundable.

Registration for the Hookin2Hockey program at Ballinger Park Hockey grounds is completed through our Registration page.
